Sand Tray Therapy translation sand tray:

In translating your sand tray for sand tray therapy tray, I noticed a lot of symbolism. Spiders, snakes were outside the circle and peaceful animals and objects were inside the circle. The black spider web stood out to me the most. In your world webs represent past hurt and abuse. Which is interesting because, spiders may indicate a feeling of being entangled or trapped in a sticky or clingy relationship. Did the hurt and abuse stem from a past relationship? It represents some ensnaring and controlling force. The cutting of the web is very powerful. Purple boundary may serve as safe guard and protection for you. Horses may symbolize strength, power, endurance, virility and sexual prowess. It also represents a strong, physical energy. Could it be that you may need to tame the wild forces within. Perhaps your strength or power is being divided. I couldn't help but notice the large snake on the outside of the boundary. Snakes of course symbolize fears that could be hidden. It also signifies worries that are threatening you. Your subconscious may be alerting you to something in your waking life that you are not aware of or that has not yet surfaced. If the snake tangles itself, then it represents a subsiding threat. Something that you thought was going to be a problem has resolved itself. Lush green trees symbolize new hopes, growth, desires, knowledge, and life. It also implies strength, protection and stability. Is it safe to say that you are concentrating on your own self-development and individuation? In harmony with your translation shells signifies your inner desire to be sheltered, nourished and protected from life's problems. It can also indicate that you are closing yourself off emotionally. Did you feel that way at any point? Maybe when you were experiencing abuse? Seashells can also mean security and protection. In protecting yourself from getting hurt, you are also becoming reclusive and emotionally closed off. I’ve enjoyed viewing your sand tray therapy world!

Hello I really enjoyed your openness with your transitional objects sand tray therapy tray. You mentioned some very vulnerable things that you are trying to get rid of and that is a huge strength to be able to recognize those things. I chose two objects to translate, the spider web and the horse. You have translated them yourself so of course these new translations may not be accurate but maybe that could provide a different perspective. The spider web could represent a desire to control your surroundings or and inability to free your true self and also a feeling of being trapped. This could indicate the feelings of things before you decided to cut through this web and free yourself. The horse could represent strength, power, and endurance. You represented the horse being your freedom, maybe these are some characteristics in yourself that have allowed you to be free.
