The Sand Tray Therapy Zen Garden that I completed was a design of happiness and tranquility. It is very difficult to explain the affects that you have making a Sand Tray Therapy Zen Garden. I felt at peace and pleased with making it.

My mind was zoned into the mood of wanting to be in the garden at that very moment. I see how this project is very helpful in creating a way to feel stress free. The tiny details of the rocks, the lovely grass, and the design of the sand were a blissful place that I would like to be at all times.

The artistic significance in the Sand Tray Therapy Zen Garden design is to bring the key elements all together. The purpose of the landscape is to filter the essence of an authentic landscape of peace. It conveys an expression of a genuine landscape in a miniature size. The idea of my Zen garden is the sense of beauty and peace. My Zen garden is an open space with four rocks of various sizes, raked into wavy lines of sand with beautiful green crisped grass.

The rocks are for the open areas that not covered with decoration. The pathway is to lead through and around my garden for strolling, thinking, and concentrating. The sand is to fill the garden for the essential need of softness. The grass is to add color and for a sense of relaxation. The rake was for the design of the sand.

By creating this garden, I have found another way to relax. Creating this garden helped me to express an authentic landscape of my mood and genuine thoughts. This was a great project to do because it reassures your spirit. Also it helped me to clear my mind.

This Zen garden gives me a sense of ease and a feeling of harmony. This has encouraged me to work on my own garden at home, where I can create my own Sand Tray Therapy Zen garden in my back yard. This design is for me to look at when I am stressed out and need to reflect to be at peace. I will always reflect back on how this project can help me in stressful situations.
