See a Beautiful Example of the Play Therapy Flower Mandala
I enjoyed creating my own personal play therapy mandala by expressing my thoughts and feelings through coloring. I had no guidelines but was instructed to express whatever was on my mind.
I am in a very exciting part of my life with moving back to Atlanta and I will be starting my practicum in the Fall semester. I will be working with children through play therapy and I am very excited about it.
The colors of my play therapy mandala (Blue, Pink, Purple, & Yellow) represent different aspects in my life.
The blue center flower represents myself in the world and is also my favorite color.
The pink and purple flowers represent my family and friends that are in my life. My family and friends mean the world to me and have always been there for me through anything I have been through and vice versa.
The dark yellow circle represents my walk with God and how he is apart of my life. The circle is not perfect because my walk has not been perfect but I know that God has been with me through all of the changes in my life.
I first used the bright yellow just for background color but I soon realized that there was another reason. In every situation that I have been through, I have always looked on the bright side and found the good in each situation.
I picked flowers to draw because they make me happy and I thought it would make it look pretty. Also, I have been really happy the past few weeks and is excited to see what new comes my way in the years to come.
