Peace Garden by E. for Sand Tray / Sand Play THerapy
I called my Garden, the Peace Garden for sand tray therapy class. As I look at it, it reflects light, peace and purity. I made my Sand Tray from a plastic container I purchased at Wal-Mart and the images I used where from Dollar store and Garage sales. I was very drawn to the bridal image, because to me it denotes the bride of Christ, pure holy and full of light, peace and joy. She has her hands stretched out to welcome the bride groom and accepting the beauty all around. She is by the edge of the ocean, vastness of life and calmness. She is enveloped by the beauty of nature all around her drawing her closer to the bridegroom who is the author of nature. She has a flower by her feet, a gift presented to the bridegroom of her unfailing love and dedication. The trees behind adds life and color to the beauty around. The green trees give out life which she breathes in and the whole environment is so full of life. The back is a little clustered, but her view is completely uncluttered, with very little items to distract her from her focus. The rocks on the side are places of rest, where she can sit and rest whenever she wants to.
