Day 6 of 7 Student #4 Sand Tray Therapy Class Assignment
This is day 6 of 7 of my extended tray for my sand tray therapy class assignment.
It is hard to imagine that in a span of 10 days, I could go from feeling so stressed to not very stressed at all.
This sand tray represents a happy and healthy me. I am represented by the figure in the middle, smiling, happy, and feeling great.
The figures around me represent various aspects of my life. The clown represents my personality, caring, warm, and gentle. The palm tree represents my sense of peace and serenity. The see saw represents my sense of play, the belief that I have that you must always find time to laugh and love life. The whale represents my sense of freedom from the stress that I had been dealing with. The pelican made out of seashells represents my ability to be creative and to think. The disney characters represent my sense of friendship to those around me that help me through difficult times.
This tray shows me that things are going to be ok. When things get tough, I have to pick myself up and move along. Things could always be worse, and there is always a bright side to everything.
